Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire 01st October 2020 - Scuba diving in South wales is witnessing quite turbulent conditions for the next few days, strong winds and large swells will affect the sea conditions especially and also the rivers with levels rising rapidly. Sheltered areas will be better conditions but winds will predict the better areas as well as the tides. With big swells and stormy seas especially inshore through out the local area conditions are not looking the best. The better areas will definately be inland at protected lakes, quarry sites etc. Overall bad conditions especially on the days with high winds and big swells, very poor visibility across all regions in South wales. The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.
