The Scuba Diving Season has well and truly began here at Ocean quest, on the weekend we had 16 eager students completeing the PADI Open Water Diver Course at Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys in Cardiff. The students had travelled from all over South Wales including Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend, Newport and Porthcawl and were completeing their confined water section of the PADI Scuba Diving System.
The course which consists of Swimming Pool and theoretical instruction has prepared the Students to complete 4 Open Water qualifying dives on sites we use around the area, these sites include Oxwich Bay, Limeslade Bay, Langland Bay, The National Diving and Activity Center and Vobster Quay Diving Facility. The 4 dives will give the students the competancy to be able to Dive anywhere in the world upto 18 meters . This Qualification is the first step to the wonderfull underwater seas and oceans of the world, and is instantly obtainable by all members society, this is why Scuba Diving is the most wonderfull skill a human can obtain.
