The swell is getting down to a smaller 3-2 foot and the winds are mainly under 10 mph except for Thursday and Saturday. Conditions for entrance and exiting should be better this week, however the visibility may be limited due to the previous conditions. PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver courses - The full range of the PADI Open Water Diver System is being offered for the South Wales region. The next confined pool session for the PADI Open Water Course will be run on 07th September 2019 at Hebron Hall Swimming Pool in Dinas Powys on the outskirts of Cardiff. The students will be completing the theoretical sessions before the swimming pool session on 7th September. There will also be students on the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and the PADI Rescue Diver course with Open Water Dates to be confirmed.
Scuba Diving Conditions Report Update - Local conditions are still looking unsuitable with choppy inshore waters. The swell and the winds are affecting the better diving areas and would require a high level of knowledge and experience to dive competently. PADI Rescue Diver or PADI Divemaster qualifications would be the preferred levels with previous required experience.
