WEATHER -  Mixed weather this week with mainly dry weather and alot warmer than last week. Most days are above 10 degrees and up to 15 degrees. Lowest temperature 10 degrees. SEA STATE AND SWELL - Wind direction is mainly west and south this week so will be travelling up the channel. Strong winds will affect the sea state to rough conditions especially on Saturday with big swells and big winds. WEATHER -  Dry again this week but alot colder, Northerly winds are bringing in a cold front. There are high Northerly winds predicted though the next couple of days temperatures are now down to 3 degrees and up to 12 degrees later in the week. This week is hard to predict, the sea state could be calm with off shore winds but the are very high and the swell is between 1 - 4 feet. The tides are early so diving would be better on the incoming tides. Really need to watch winds and tides.

We are completing the four dives on the PADI Open water diver course on Saturday and Sunday. The course will be hosting Ian, Jan, Coral, Matt, Siobhan and Daniel. They will be completing the dives to obtain the PADI Open Water Diver qualification.

SEA STATE AND SWELL - Swell will reach highs of 7ft the next few days, Thursday onward will be a steady 2-4ft. From our recent storm this weekend, visibility is ultimately nil, the sea state is looking calm but for diving in our Southern coastline it is poor . Great sea conditions this week but thanks to storm Callum and big swell, entries and exits will be a challenge. Along with poor visibility dive conditions this week are poor. Therefore if you head to West Wales you might be in for a better chance. If not you could always head inland where you are almost guaranteed a dive.

October 27th/28th we are running the PADI Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver courses. Our next PADI Open Water Diver pool sessions to accompany the four open water dives will be held the first weekend of November att Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys in Cardiff, there are students from all over South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bridgend and Porthcawl.

SEA STATE AND SWELL - Wind direction will pay a key part in the sea state as there may be Easterly winds on Saturday and low swell which will be good for for the sea state on the Southern and Western facing shorelines. Poor sea conditions through into next week, possibility of diveable conditions on Saturday as the wind is high but offshore and the swell is low, however visibility will be low as the swell and winds have been high.

There is definately NO DIVING accross the South Wales area for the next few days, the swell and the wind is huge and no visibility so all around bad for any Scuba Diving in areas around Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Camarthenshire etc. The best option would be to head inland to the protected sites across the region.

This weekend we have Luke, Keiron, Nathaniel and Harri completing the PADI Junior Open Water Diver qualification. We shall be heading inland with the lads to complete the course on Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully the wind and the rain will hold off for the lads to get through and start their diving future.

Summer is on its way out and the Autumn is coming in, this means a change in conditions through the South Wales region. Water temperature will be high into October but at present there are high winds and swells forecast which will affect the conditions especially the visibility.

We have had a prolonged period of good conditions but that is now behind us, hopefully we can get a period of no swell and light winds to enhance the diving conditions.

Currently we are running the PADI Open Water Diver course for people across South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and across the region. We are also in the process of delivering the PADI Rescue diver course.

Definate change in the conditions over the last couple of weeks, from warm and sunny we have had cold and stormy. August definitely is a mixed bag of weather now. Big winds and stormy seas have affected the Scuba Diving in all areas across South Wales, best option if to head inland to the protected sites. My be lucky and get a dive in on the West Wales coast.

Last weekend we completed the PADI Open Water Diver course with Natalie, Hayley, Gavin, Mike and Nia. All passed there full Open Water diver qualification and are now set to prepare for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver qualification.

This is the diving season for us now, warm waters and calmer seas in the months of September, October and November. We are then off on our epic trip to South Africa and Mozambique to see our wonderful sharks and creatures. We will keep you full informed.

Looks like the weather has changed and the good diving conditions have gone, strong Westerly winds and stormy conditions are effecting the visibility and entrance and exit safety on all sites across South Wales.

We have held the PADI Open water diver course with 6 students today, all have completed the first two Open Water dives and are now progressing to complete the final two tomorrow afternoon. We are also running the PADI Advanced Open Water diver and the PADI Rescue diver courses. The students will be receiving the full PADI Open Water diver qualification on successful completion of the fou dives

The weather is looking good but the problem is the wind and the swell, there has been a lot of swell around over the last few days and with the wind this has affected all the areas for safety and visibility. Most areas across the region will now have limited visibility and hard conditions with the surge and swell

We are back in the pool again on Saturday 11th August with the PADI Open Water Scuba Diver course run on a day long session. Students will be with us from all over the country to complete the PADI Open Water Diver Referral course.
