Scuba Diving is an experience and a skill that can be learned and required by anyone from 8 - 80, it truly is an amazing experience and a life changing event. You can simply have a go in a swimming pool or confined water area to sample the amazing wonders of the underwater world, or you can complete the full PADI Open Water Diver Course to become a fully qualified Open Water Diver able to dive any where in the world up to 18 meters for a life time or 12 meters or juniors.
We have fantastic diving accross South wales including Swansea, and up to Pembrokeshire, places such as limeslade bay, oxwich bay, stackpole quay, lydstep, martins haven, st brides bay and abercastel are all fantastic sites along the welsh coastline.
Scuba Diving courses such as the PADI Open Water Diver course will enable you to dive in the special locations and also sites all across the world such as the Red Sea, The Maldives, The Caribbean, Florida and all the amazing dive sites on the planet. This truly is an amazing certification to acquire in your lifetime.
The PADI Open Water Course is run in Cardiff for people accross South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and consists of theory, swimming pool training and 4 Open Water Dives. Once obtained you are certified to dive in the worlds beautifull sea's and oceans.
We have recently trained Simone, Gavin, Nia and Sara who are now ready to complete their Open Water Diver Training, we will keep you upto date with their progress.
The weather has been amazing for the last few weeks and so has the diving, this weekend we hosted Ben, Laura, Emily and Phil from Swansea and Cameron From Cardiff for their four PADI Open Water Qualifying dives to complete their PADI Open Water Diver Course. The students met at the dive site early in the morning to start the course, they were met by Dan and Jon their instructors for the day and started with a briefing on the site and the event for the next couple of days.
The students completed two dives on the Saturday and Two full dives on the Sunday for their Open water Course completion, the students performed exceptonally well and passed the course in true style, they are now certified to dive anywhere in the world upto 18 meters.
This weekend on the 2nd we have the start of another PADI Open Water Diver Course at Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys Cardiff, the course starts at 8am till 4pm where the students will be completing their scuba diving skills in the swimming pool. Students will be on the course from all over South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bridgend and Porthcawl.
On the weekend of the 19.07.2014 we are running the PADI Open Water Diver Course and PADI Open Water Diver Rescue Course for students from Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and across South Wales. The courses will be held in the inland site in Newport to complete the 4 Qualifying Open Water Dives, the students are Kristun, Steven, Gareth, Jonathan, Jemima, Anthony and Stephanie. All students have completed and passed the PADI Open Water Diver Referral course and are now ready to complete the course in total to get the full certification to be able to dive to 18 meters.
The instructors for the day will be Lee, Dan, Ray, Phil and Paul and all will be ready and eager to get the students in the water for their very first Open Water Dives after being in the swimming pool. We wish them all the best and will inform you how everyone gets on in our next bulletin.
Our next course dates are 26/27th July for the Open Water Diver Course completion dives.
The Scuba Diving season is well and truly here and we are making the most of it. We have been teaching people to Scuba Dive all across South Wales including Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Porthcawl and Bridgend and with such a warm clear month in June the conditions have been fantastic.
The visibility has been really good and the fish are out to play, we are seeing more Bass, pollock, wrasse, smooth hounds, bream and all kinds of fish in and around the amazing coastline of South Wales.
Our recently trained PADI Open Water Divers and PADI Advanced Open Water Divers have been putting their skills to the test and heading off on their amazing scuba diving adventure.
Our next PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course is on the 12th July 2014 and we are actually going to sunny torquay and the South Coast to get some quality diving in, we will show you all the pictures of the event on facebook.
We have a big weekend of Scuba Diving coming up for the 05.07.2014, we are running the PADI Open Water Diver Course at Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys in Cardiff. The students attending will be a mix of Introduction Dives, Refresher Dives and the PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course. The session starts at 7.45am at Hebron Hall and the instructors on the day are Lee, Mal, Dappers, Phil and Rose, we have many students attending from Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend, Newport, Porthcawl and South Wales. The session for the try dives will be complete by 10.30am and the session for the rest of the group completing the PADI Referral course is due to complete by 1pm. After completing the referral course the students will be able to attend the 4 Open Water Qualifying dives to gain their full PADI Open Water Diver Certification, this will allow them to dive upto 18 meters anywhere in the world.
We have just come back from a fantastic trip to the Medes islands in the Mediterranean off the coast of Catalonia in Spain. We were a group of 13 all qualified divers from all over the country including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Porthcawl, Bath and even Newquay cornwall.
We head off to the shores of the Medes island a nature reserve on the outskirts of L'Estartit, the weather was a little damp when we first turned up but soon cleared to be blazing hot. We were staying in our own houses set together in the town.
All the divers were PADI Open Water Qualified or above for the tour with Instructors and Divemasters as well. The diving on the islands are truly amazing and we have now been asked to consult on the protection of the area.
This weekend we are instructing a group from Wolverhampton in the west midlands who are completeing their PADI Open Water Referral Diver Course to go on their expedition.
We are away again this weekend in Sunny London teaching at a school in South London the art of Scuba Diving with the PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course. The School group will be taught the theory of diving and have all their paperwork completed with us, they will then go through the confined water training for the course which will consist of equipment assembly, buddy procedures, entering the water, descending in the water, regulator clearing, mask clearing, neutral buoyancy, out of air techniques, ascending and all the procedures of the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
The instructors for the weekend will be travelling from Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl and Bridgend and they include Lee, Dan, Mal, Ray, Kath and Dappers. After the training the school will be ready for their expedition diving he beautiful seas and protecting the underwater environment.
Our next PADI Open Water Referral Diver Course will be held in Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys on 5th July, the course starts at 8am and finishes for 4pm, so if you fancy taking the plunge give us a shout.
We are back in Hebron Hall in Cardiff on the 7th June running the PADI Open Water Diver Referral course, on the course this time we have Jude, Anthony, and Susan all from Cardiff and also Jonathan from Bridgend. They will be completeing the Theory and the swimming pool section of the course to hone their skills of Scuba Diving so they can move into the open water to complete their 4 Open Water qualifying dives. Once complete they will recieve the PADI Open Water Diver Full Diving Certification which allows them to dive 18 meters across the world. Their instructors will be Mal, Dan and Kathryn.
Also we qualified divers completing their refresher sessions to scratch up on thee skills they have previously been taught and introductory divers who have never dived before and starting out for the first time. The students are from all over South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend and Newport.
We will keep you updated with all the training and instruction that we are delivering over the year and give recognition to the students undertaking the courses.
The weekend saw a group of students from all over South Wales including Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend and Merthyr and all students on the weekend successfully passed their PADI Open Water Diver Course. One of the members was my son Jarrod who passed with flying colours, must be in the blood.
This weekend we are away again teaching a school in Ipswich, with a group of students on an expedition Scuba Diving and researching in some of the most fantastic destiantions in the world.
We will be putting all the pictures from the weekend on our facebook site and hopefully we have another 100% pass rate.
