Big weekend again coming up we have 6 students completeing their PADI Open Water Qualifying Dives in the NDAC in Chepstow, the students are Scott and Rebecca from cardiff, Debbie from swansea, Bethan and Verity fro, Cardiff and Steven from Newport.
They have all completed their PADI Open Water Referral diver course including pool sessions and theory and are ready to complete the PADI Open Water Diver Course. After completing the 4 dives they will be able to dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world.
Their instructors for the weekend will be Ray, Dan, Jason, Rose, Phil and Paul and all will be keeping a close eye on the 6 divers and their progresssion through the course.
Next week we will be completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course with students from around South Wales.
Its the start of September and everyone is going back to school or starting a new term or course. We are now starting our new Open Water Diver Scuba Diving Courses we have a big scuba diving course on offer this weekend at Hebron hall in Dinas Powys in Cardiff. The session starts at 8am untill 4pm and the instructors for the day will be Mal, Paul, Dan, Kath and Phil.
The students will be from Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend, Newport, Porthcawl and all over South Wales. On the open water diver course will be Roxine, Kelly, Vlad, Verity, Trevor, Steven and Luke. Their will also be Mathew, Nicole, Jo, Rob, Will and Mark on the introduction to Scuba Diving Session. Fully qualified Open Water Divers Eleanor, Chris, Cameron, Vicky and Debbie will also be completing refresher sessions.
Getting prepared for their Open Water Qualifying Dives will be Rebecca, Scott and Debbie who will be finishing their tests, we will let you know how they all get on in next weeks report.
A fantastic weekend ahead of Scuba Diving
This weekend we have a full diary of Scuba Diving with the Open water Diver Course being held at the National Diving and activity center in Chepstow. We have David and Denise from Swansea, Cerys from Swansea completing her Junior open Water Diver, Chris from Bridgend and Debbie from Cardiff. They will be completing their PADI Open Water Diver Course completing 4 Open Water Dives to obtain their full qualification.
Their instructors for the weekend will be Ray, Dan and Rose and soon they will be qualified to dive anywhere in the world to 18 meters. On the 7th September we will be back in Hebron Hall in Cardiff completeing the Referral part of the Open Water Diver Course with sudents from all over South wales, as alwys we will keep you up to date with all that happens.
The bank holiday has bought everyone out diving, we have an open water course with Jess, Gayle, Gavin from Cardiff and kyle from Swansea they are going to be completeing their 4 qualifying open water dives in the national diving and activity center in Chepstow. I would also like to say congratulations for Arianne from Barry, Bobby from Swansea, Courtney from Swansea, paul from Cardiff and max from barry for completing their open water scuba diving qualification last week in the NDAC. We are proud to have them as qualified scuba divers with quest.
Going to the next level are Paul from Cardiff and Natalie from swansea they are completing their 5 Advanced open water scuba dives again at the National Diving and Activity center in Chepsow. They will be diving in many different situations including bouyancy, wreck, deep, naturalist and navigational dives. Paul recently completed his Open water Course and will be also completeing the dry suit and nitrox course as well become a very accomplished diver in a short space of time.
We are coming up to another big scuba diving weekend here at Quest we have our instructors Ray, John and Dan with our group of 6 Scuba Divers. Firstly we have Bobby from Swansea, Arianne from Barry, Courtney from swansea, Verity, Max and paul from Cardiff.
They have all completed their confined open water diver course and are now prepared for their 4 Open Water qualifying dives. We are heading off to the National Diving and activity center in Chepstow for the 4 dives. The temperature and the visibilty is exceptionally good for the dives. Once completed the students will be qualifie as fully licenced Open Water Divers and will be allowed to dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world.
We have several Open Water Diver course's running over the next few weekends, so we will keep you intouch with how everyone gets on.
The weekend as come and we have been training the PADI Open Water Referral Course in Cardiff in the swimming pool in Hebron Hall. On Saturday we had several people from all over south wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend and Newport. We managed to finish all the elements of the Referral course and after 4 hours pool training the skills were allm ready for the completion of the Open Water Scuba Diving Course.
The 4 qualifying dives will now be held in the National Diving and Activity center in Chepstow were we will be coming from Swansea, Cardiff, Newport and Bridgend to complete the 4 Open Water Scuba Dives.
The season is well and truly here for Scuba Diving. The sun is blazing and the water temperatute is rising, so we are in the water as much as possible. Diving at Scare Beach was absolutley amazing!

The students will then be going on to complete their PADI Open Water Diver Course, with four qualifying Dives, so of the guys will be completing this sesction here in South Wales and some will be traveling accross the world to fantastic Diving Destinations. We have another weekend of training the PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Course, with students from all over the country including Rachel from somerset, Paul from Cardiff, Andrew from Cardiff, Tiffany from Cardiff University and Marcus from Newport. They will be meeting us at The NDAC in Chepstow at 8am on Saturday where their instructors John, Ray and Dan will meet them to run through all the procedures of the Day.
They have already completed their PADI Open Water Theory Tests and the confined water section of the course and now they are prepared and ready to complete their four open water dives.
We wish them all good look and hopefully will see them on one of our new dive trips or on the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. We have sessions now running in Cardiff and Swansea for the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
