Sophie, Mathew c, Mathew s, Joe, Steve, antonia, Amy, Rose and Alistar are all completing their PADI Open Water Diver Course this weekend in the NDAC in Chepstow, completeing their 4 open water dives. Instructors and Divemasters Ray, John, Jacob, Dan, Jason and rose will all be keeping a watchfull eye on our new divers to make sure that they complete all their dives sucssesfully.
They initially started their course in Hebron Hall in Cardiff after completeing their theory and pool confined water sessions which has perpaered them for their Open Water Dives. The 4 dives will be conducted over the weekend with the final dive on Sunday. So good luck to all the guys and we look forward to them diving with us in the future.

Well the weathers changing the nights are shorter and the days colder, but that dosent stop us diving we are in the water when ever possible, it is the best thing you can ever do so why not!
We are training at Morriston leisure center in Swansea on Wednesday evenings from 6.15pm - 8.30pm where we complete the confined water training of the Open Water Diver course and also the pool training for the Rescue and the Divemaster courses.
We also have our pool sessions in Cardiff in Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys, we hold these sessions once per month at the beginning of the month, where again we teach the confined water sessions and theory sessions of the PADI Open Water training course.
The sessions consist of putting together the equipment, pool training and theoretical work with the aim of obtaining the PADI Open Water Refferal and full certification.

We had a very busy weekend again at Hebron Hall in Cardiff where we have been running the PADI Open Water Diver training course and this week we had the group from Glamorgan University with us preparing to go on their trip to Borneo, the lucky devils.
We satrted with their theory training on Friday afternoon in the cabin at Hebron and then we were in the pool, completeing all their skills to become an Open Water diver. The group led by Sophie were fantastic, they had prepared all their theory very well and their skills in the pool were excellent. After the pool session was complete we then headed off back to the cabin to complete their knowledge reviews and their final tests. With only a couple of hicups they passed with flying colours.
Next step is the Open Water at the end of October at the NDAC in chepstow, they will complete their 4 open water qualifying dives and they will then be certified to dive on their expedition in Borneo. Well done and good luck to all the guys from Glamorgan University.
Congratulations are going to our newest Divemasters and Proffessional Divers Dan, Kath, Jason and Ewan. The four divers have done exceptionally well training for years and diving all over the world to obtain the professional level qualification.
They have been training and diving in Cardiff, Swansea, Chepstow, South Wales, Egypt, Malta, Spain in fact all over the world and have spent many hard years training to get one of the highest levels of qualification in Scuba Diving.
We have also now got our Glamorgan University group starting their open Water diver course in Cardiff on Friday and Saturday, starting their career in diving, getting ready for their expedition in Borneo in March.
We are also training in Swansea with swansea University on Wednesday night at Morriston swimming pool getting ready for heit course in Marine Biology. So Good look and congratulations to all our new and qualified divers.
Its that time of year the students are back at Cardiff and Glamorgan Universities to start another year of studies and another year of Scuba Diving. The guys are all rearing to go and are eager to get back into the water and get thier tanks on.
On the 5th and 6th October the guys from Glamorgan University are with us completeing their Referral oopen water diver course which will allow them to dive on their course expedition to Borneo in the aerly part of next year, they will be learning the basics in the swimming pool and then completeing their 4 open water dives at the end of October.
We are in cardiff university on thursday with Rose, Tom, Kieran, Emma and the gang getting ready for the freshers fair so all the new recruits can come and see how amazing it is to Scuba Dive in the oceans of the world. They will then be offering try dive sessions in hebron Hall in Dinas powys in Cardiff on the first friday and Saturday in November.
We were diving again this weekend on the PADI Advanced Course with David and Chris, the guys had both previuosly learned to dive in Cardiff and Swansea on the Open Water Diver course and were now moving up to the Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
The Sea was very rough so we headed up to the NDAC center in chepstow for our weekends diving, completeing 5 dives including, Peak Performance Bouyancy, Deep, Navigation, Wreck and naturalist and the guys had a fantastic time.
Both Chris and David completed the course with flying colours and are now newly certified PADI Advanced Open water divers, so well done to both.
We have our Open Water training in Swansea strating up again on wednesday night and were back in the swimming pool at the beginning of October in february so look out for the details of those on the website.
We had a little break last week from Diving but are definately making up for it this week with a big Open Water Diving Course at the NDAC in Chepstow and a Big PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Referral Course in Cardiff.
We have people based all over South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend and a group of students from Glamorgan University completeing their course to go on an expedition for their course next year.
The Referral will be held in Hebron Hall in Cardiff on Friday night and a full day on the Saturday, with the guys completing all their skills ready to complete their 4 qualifying Open Water Dives.

Bank hoilday weekend and we are away diving again. John, Lee, Callum, Steve travelled from Cardiff, Swansea and porthcawl to the NDAC National Diving and Activity Center in Chepstow to complete 5 amazing dives on the PADI Advanced Diving course.
The dives they completed were the PPB, Navigation, Deep, Search and recovery and Naturalist dives. They were fantastic and all the dives were spectacular.
After the course they will be able to dive any wher in the world to 30 meters and callum especially is hoping to come on our trip to south africa in January 2013.
We have an Open Water course coming up in Cardiff in September and as usual have the Open Water course running in swansea every wednesday night.
Well the summers still here, you may not believe so but it is summer, but the weather hasnt stopped us having a fantastic season of diving. We are running diving courses in swansea and in cardiff through out the year.
Wednesday we are in Morriston swimming pool in swansea with daisy, karl and mark going through their paces getting ready to complete their 4 Open water quailifying dives, we are also in Cardiff on the 7th September in Hebron Hall swimming pool with Tim, Alison, Amy, gareth and martin, who are all getting prepared to finish off their open Water Diver qualification which will allow them to dive anywhere in the world up to 18 Meters.
The next Open water diving session will be on the 8th/9th September where Charlotte, emma, Geriant and Tom will be completeing their 4 Open Water Dives for their full qualification. we will keep you posted with how they all get on. in the meantime check out our facebook pages for Ocean Quest to see the pictures.
