Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, West Wales 27th November 2020 - Calmer seas and winds for the next few days creating better diving conditions throughout the region. Mainly offshore Easterly Winds and smaller swells, meaning better calmer conditions for diving across South, West Wales. West and North facing beaches should see the better conditions however the temperatures are dropping and thermal protection needs to be increased. The winds are predominantly be from the West and the South and the coastal areas around South Wales will have very poor diving conditions. The better areas will be in Martins Haven, St Brides, Abercastle all in the West Wales area and all on the high tide. Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire 01st October 2020 - Scuba diving in South wales is witnessing quite turbulent conditions for the next few days, strong winds and large swells will affect the sea conditions especially and also the rivers with levels rising rapidly. Sheltered areas will be better conditions but winds will predict the better areas as well as the tides. With big swells and stormy seas especially inshore through out the local area conditions are not looking the best. The better areas will definately be inland at protected lakes, quarry sites etc. Overall bad conditions especially on the days with high winds and big swells, very poor visibility across all regions in South wales. The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.
PADI and SSI Open Water Diver courses in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and South Wales 01st October 2020 - The PADI and SSI diving programmes are now under government restrictions with our next training pool session on 20th March 2021. We are elated to get our students back in the water scuba diving and are planning to run our full diving programme from the pool session on 20th March 2021 onwards. As always the theoretical sections of the course can all be completed online prior to the pool session training. We will then be offering the full Open water training programme from 10th October onwards.
