Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, West Wales 30th December - Scuba Diving conditions are getting better over the next few days especially over the weekend. The sea state is calm and the winds and swells low. For a change the North facing beaches will be affected by the wind but most of the beaches in the West and the South will be good conditions with offshore winds and low swells. Visibility will be low but better the further up the coast. The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

Very mixed conditions coastally for the next few days, high and low winds , big and small swells, stormy and calm seas. The better day will be Friday and then stormy on Saturday. Need to be prepared to check the weather every day to assess the conditions in the local areas to Cardiff, Swansea, West wales, Carmarthen. The overall view is that conditions are not good any where in the South Wales region due to the variation in the coastal conditions. Rain should be heavy in parts but general showers. SEA STATE and SWELL - Very stormy seas this week with very strong winds up to gale force. Sunday will be the strongest winds and the stormiest seas. The winds are high all week and therefore the conditions will be choppy and stormy through the week.

Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire 06th November 2020 - Better conditions this week with offshore winds mainly and smaller swells along the South wales coastline. The visibility will be down but the sea conditions will be better for entrance and exit and general conditions. Winds will turn early next week which may affect diving quality. As always the better areas will be in the West with St Brides and Martins Haven being the most protected areas. The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day
PADI and SSI Open Water Diver courses in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and South Wales 06th November 2020 - The PADI and SSI diving programmes are now under government restrictions with our next training pool session on 20th March 2021. We are elated to get our students back in the water scuba diving and are planning to run our full diving programme from the pool session on 20th March 2021 onwards.
