We had a very busy weekend again at Hebron Hall in Cardiff where we have been running the PADI Open Water Diver training course and this week we had the group from Glamorgan University with us preparing to go on their trip to Borneo, the lucky devils.
We satrted with their theory training on Friday afternoon in the cabin at Hebron and then we were in the pool, completeing all their skills to become an Open Water diver. The group led by Sophie were fantastic, they had prepared all their theory very well and their skills in the pool were excellent. After the pool session was complete we then headed off back to the cabin to complete their knowledge reviews and their final tests. With only a couple of hicups they passed with flying colours.
Next step is the Open Water at the end of October at the NDAC in chepstow, they will complete their 4 open water qualifying dives and they will then be certified to dive on their expedition in Borneo. Well done and good luck to all the guys from Glamorgan University.
