Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire 13th November 2020 - Prospects not looking good this week for diving across the region with very high winds and huge swells. The only possibilty to dive would be in West Wale sin the sheltered areas in Martins Haven and St Brides Bay possibly. The outlook at the moment is not looking great and the conditions are looking to persist for several days. This will affect safety as well as the conditions and visibility through out the region. The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day
PADI and SSI Open Water Diver courses in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and South Wales 13th November 2020 - The PADI and SSI diving programmes are now under government restrictions with our next training pool session on 20th March 2021. We are elated to get our students back in the water scuba diving and are planning to run our full diving programme from the pool session on 20th March 2021 onwards. As always the theoretical sections of the course can all be completed online prior to the pool session training. We will then be offering the full Open water training programme from 10th October onwards.

RAINFALL - Mixed week of wet and dry weather, heaviest day will be Saturday this week with more continuous rain through out the day. Friday afternoon should be dry as well as Monday. Rain should be heavy in parts but general showers. SEA STATE and SWELL - Very stormy seas this week with very strong winds up to gale force. Sunday will be the strongest winds and the stormiest seas. The winds are high all week and therefore the conditions will be choppy and stormy through the week.
